office beta 2 kit

Wendy

I purchased the Office System Beta 2 kit 2003 and
understood there would be special pricing for beta users
when the full version came available. I have enjoyed the
programs included in the beta version and interested in
continuing to use the products as I have acquired a
fullcharge home booking position in addition to
establishing a small business and will need the continued
use of the programs provided in the Office beta version.
Could you please confirm my status for eligibility and
send any additional info to (e-mail address removed).
Thank you.

Wendy, you won't likely get an email response from a newsgroup post. keep
in mind this is a peer-to-peer group, not an official venue of MS support.

But to your issue, where did you receive the information about special
pricing? I was an official beta tester and did not see this mentioned
anywhere. Not that I doubt you, I'm just wondering what the source was.

Regardless, check out www.microsoft.com/office. The site has been updated
with info regarding the upcoming Office 2003.

Hi Wendy,

The Office System 2003 beta kit was free, except
for a shipping and handling charge. There was no
specific information on the website or in the Beta
Kit package regarding any special pricing for trying
the beta.

As both Bob and Randall stated, there is no special pricing for folks who
used the Public Preview version of Office System 2003.

You may be referring to the Technology Guarantee that is now in effect in
North America - if you purchase Office XP between August 15 and November 30,
2003, you can download a coupon to receive Office System 2003 for the cost
of shipping and handling. Is this what you are referring to?
