I have successfully installed Office Pro Beta and saved my Office Pro 2003
applications, as well. In running the Beta Diagnostics tool, All works well,
except for one error under the Compatibility Diagnostic: "Found 2 conflicting
versions of Outlook on your Computer".
I then went to the suggested online site, which told me to uninstall
Outllook 2003 through "Add/Remove" programs. I did that and attempted to
"change (rather than "remove") my Office Pro 2003 installation to remove
Outlook 2003 and received the following:
"This patch program could not be opened. Verify the patch package exists and
that you can access it or contact the application's vendor to verify that
this is a valid Windows Installer patch package".
Can anyone assist me with this Diagnostic error?
