I'm running into an issue with Office 2007, where the Office Button in the
upper left-hand corner becomes unresponsive. When you click on it, it goes
from white or bright gold to a brown color, and no menu appears - if you
click somewhere else, it goes back to white again, but still does not work.
This is happening in all Apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
I've run a repair, as well as a complete uninstall, delete the remaining
directories, and re-install, and applied SP1 and all updates, but the problem
persists. Other users on identical configurations are not having this issue.
I've seen this problem multiple times on various forums and answer groups
since mid-2007, but no answer has been posted yet. Has anyone else seen
this, or a solution to it?
