Office Can't Update Missing Patch msp??

Subject: MS Office patch missing

OEM was Win Me w/MS Office SBE- upgraded to XP Home and
Office XP SBE

HD crashed & replaced; restored from external HD
Office programs and files are accessible but do not
appear on start list or add/delete list.

Cannot update Office or repair from CD because "msp?
patch" is missing

How can I proceed?
