Office CD-Key

I am on business in the Philippines and i updated my office program at
mactopia so i could use entourage, when i try and use the applications
after update i need my cd key, my wife is back home frantically
searching for our original box, does anyone know if microsoft keeps a
record on their side and if they would provide that information, i
know it sounds like bs but really in a bind

Situation 1: Was this a sealed copy? If you bought it opened or from eBay,
it's no surprise, as keys which are known to have been pirated have
been disabled. Sorry, you'll need to buy a licensed copy.

Situation 2: If you bought your copy of Office X sealed from a reputable
dealer, it's possible for some reason your key was bad. You can request a
new one by calling Microsoft Product Support Services. For inquiries
regarding Office X (only), click this link for a phone number. You should
not be charged for the replacement key. However, you might need proof of
ownership.

I would suggest that if your wife finds any proof that she owns Office, that
she should call Microsoft using the link above, request a new key, and send
that key to you.
