Office Clipboard items can't be deleted

Does anyone know a way to manually clear contents of the
Office Clipboard?

I have a screenshot saved in the clipboard; it persists
despite every attempt to delete it. It has replicated
(there are 4 copies in clipboard). If I copy then paste
an item in any other program, the initial paste deletes
the saved item from clipboard; subsequent attempts to
paste same item result in pastes of the screenshot
instead. Even complete re-install of Office didn't fix
problem, so it appears Office clipboard becomes or is
managed with the clipboard function of Windows XP, as the
saved clipboard content outlived the reinstall of Office.

try uninstalling first, then re-install

if you just install over top the existing program, it wont
erase anything.

Hi James,

First to ask the obvious, have you tried opening to the Clipboard task
pane in any Office application and using the "Clear All" command?
