Office Compatibility

I had Office xp standard for students and Teachers installed on a computer
which has died and is no longer usable. I want to know if I can install this
program for which I have all the installation cds on my new computer, which
has Windows Vista OS? So, I think the issues may be whether Office xp is
compatible with Windows Vista and whether I can register Office xp on my new
computer. Also, is there a phone contact I may need to register the Office
xp? Thank you for your help.
