osa.exe file seems to be missing or corrupted. What does
this file do and how do I repair it?

Mike--

Microsoft Office Startup Assistant shortcut (Osa.exe) on the Windows Startup
menu.

It always helps to state the version of Office. Are you running one of them
from '97 through MOS 2K3? Why do you say it seems to be missing or
corrupted because it's possible to uninstall it with no harm? Are you
getting a numbered error message or is one displayed in Event Viewer?

I don't know what version of Office and what if any error message you're
getting or why you say it's missing or corrupted but you could go to
Help>and run Detect and Repair and see if that fixes whatever is going on.
