office crash startup

There isn't one other application on my computer among dozens I use
daily that crashes on startup the way Office 2004 does. Not even Office
vX!!

What gives? Why is it super picky about fonts?

Incidentally, I just got a note from a user who solved her Word crash on
startup by rebuilding the Entourage database. Go figure. (Actually I can
sort of see why this would be; my own Word crash on startup problems
were solved when I used Entourage to fix the Main Identity.) m.

Hi Robert,

You're talking about Word 2004, since Office 2004 is a suite of
applications, right? I can't tell you why Word is so picky about fonts, but
it is. For help solving your crashing problem, see here:
