Hey there,
I'm not having much luck with help on Office Customization questions... Am
i posting in the wrong group???
My new question is how do you create a file association for XNK files to
work with Outlook 2007... It used to work in 2003, now the calendars and
association don't work with XNK files... You can manually create the
association, but is there a way to set it up in the Customization tool, so
it automatically gets done on all computers???
I can do the following to manually get it working (but want to try and
automate it in Office Customization Tool if possible)
Click Start, click Run, type Explorer in the Open box, and then click OK.
On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
In the Folder Options dialog box, click the File Types tab, and then click
New.
In the Create New Extensions dialog box, type xnk in the File Extension box,
and then click OK.
Click to select XNK under Registered file types, and then click Advanced.
In the Edit File Type dialog box, type XNK next to the icon, and then click
New.
In the New Action dialog box, type OPEN for Action, and then type the
following text under Application used to perform action:
"DriveLetter:\path\Outlook.exe" /x "%1"
Thanks for any help...
