office database is damaged

Hi,
I saw the earlier posts regarding office database damaged issue. In my case, I started seeing this problem only today every time I add a new contact to my Entourage address book. I hope this info could help pinpoint the cause and resolution to this problem. I hope there can be a long-term solution to this issue as it is already impacting my work. Kindly help. Thanks a lot!

Is this the Entourage Address Book or the Exchange Address Book? If it's the
Entourage Address Book, try exporting all your contacts as an Entourage
archive (.rge) file. Delete all and re-import. Try this out in a new
Identity with an exported contacts file to become familiar with the process.
