The languages available in Office 2003 for the MS Office Document Imaging and Scanning (MODI) Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
functions are those for the Office proofing tools that are installed. You should generally see extended support if you purchase the
Office 2003 Proofing Tools kit.

Alternatively, you may want to look at other OCR programs such as Abbyy FineReader. If you have a scanner/multifunction printer
it's possible that the CD that came with that product also includes OCR software.

I want to export a tiff imagine to word with Chinese fonts, but when I using
OCR function, it shows can't support Chinese fonts,and I checked the OCR
language function,there is no Chinese dictionary, only having English,
French,and Spanish.
My question is how to let the OCR knows Chinese words? >>
