Office Document Scanning 2003 - Scanning Interrupted

I have recently installed Office 2003 on a few PCs at the office and have
noticed an issue with Document Scanning when compared to Office 2002.

When trying to scan multi page documents with Office Document Scanner using
an HP 7450 with ADF the Scanning pauses after every page with a Scanning
Interupted message. This requires you to click resume after every page.
Scanning large documents is now very annoying.

This behaviour does not exist in Office XP (2002) as sharing the scanner
across the network has proven. Any Office XP works as expected, any Office
2003 system displays an interupted message after each page.

Anyone got any ideas or solutions?

Ive tried looking at registry differences between the two system and I've
also tried replacing the configuration files held under common files and
documents and settings that relate to xscan32.

There is an update on the HP site for Office 2003 with a February 2004 timestamp,
could be your solution.

Thank you for reply. Unfortunately, even after the update the problem
persists. Any other solutions?
