Office Enterprise 2007 - Missing App

I donwloaded the trial for the enterprise edition (yes, it's on the download
page, not the office page.. yet). Anyhow, it says this edition has Office
Communicator 2007, yet after installing, going back to ensure ALL components
were installed, etc. I still dont see it - everything else is there..
groove.. infopath.. all that jaz, but no communicator. Anyone else have this
problem?

Hi Matt,

MS Office Communicator 2007 was on a separate track from the main Office suite and my understanding is that the 2005 client is
currently still being provided.

It's not clear at this time how the MS Office Unified Communications group will be doing the fulfillment for the upgrade to
Communicator 2007 client software against its matching Server product, but you may want to post in the Communicator newsgroup using
the link below.

Humph! Similar problem. Foolishly tried to install free trial and it clunked
all of Office on my system, EXCEPT, OF COURSE, the one thing I wanted:
Communicator!
Then, tried another link that just install trial of Communicator. It's there
but it won't start due to problem with authentication key/registry. GREAT.
THANKS SO MUCH, MS! Have tried uninstalling Communicator, all of Office, etc.
Always stuck on same problem. So, MS, my evaluation comments so far: NEXT
TIME I"M BUYING A MAC!!!
