Office Enterprise 2007+XP SP2+Office Setup launches all the time

My native language isn't English, so please forgive me my mistakes :$

I have a PC/s with XP Pro SP2 installed and 2 day's ago I replace
Office 2003 PRO with Office Enterprise 2007 (with SP1) in that/thes
machine/s. Now I got a problem: when regular user log's to that machin
and opens any Office program or document - Office launche
setup/configuration wizard...if it happened once, it would be OK, bu
it happens every time User opens any Office document/program (if use
with administrator rights log's in - everything works OK...but it's no
a good solution to promote regular user ;)).

Things I already tried:
* 3-4 times reinstalled/repaired Office 2007
* used Microsoft Office Diagnostic
* uninstalled Office 2007, then installed Office 2003 and uninstalle
it right away (thought that maybe O2003 uninstallation corrupte
somehow)
* ran Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
* used CCCleaner
* reinstalled Microsoft Installer 3.1
* tried 'that' (http://larmib.com/selfhelp.aspx?articleID=21&kbID=1)

...and still no progress. I don't want to reinstall OS - it's
solution but a bad one. Maybe someone has good solution to m
problem...

Hi kikas,

For Office 2007 using the Windows Installer Cleanup utility isn't recommended by Microsoft due to the multiple .MSI file structure,
and CCleaner is generally not suggested for Office cleanup :)
The tool on Larmib is interesting, designed back in Win NT/98 days <g>. It's not one I've seen documented as something to use with
Office 2007 by Microsoft.

Do the user accounts have elevated privileges when you're installing?

Hi Kikas,

Dont waste time in uninstalling and re-installing .

Copy and paste each line once in run box and click ok ,
this may resolve the problem in limited windows user account .

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t
REG_DWORD /d 1
reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Options /v NoReReg /t
REG_DWORD /d 1
reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options /v NoReReg /t
REG_DWORD /d 1
reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\Options /v NoReReg /t
REG_DWORD /d 1
