Office Enterprise 2007

I purchased Office Enterprise 2007 Home Use Program through work. I cannot
get my computer to recognize the CD. I found another post here that said
that it was a DVD and I had to have a DVD drive. Well, my drive properties
are this:
HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8483B
Device type: DVD/CD-ROM drives
So isn't this a DVD drive? Shouldn't it be able to read it? My coworker is
having the same problem. What gives with this software?

The device type basically says it's an optical disk reader. The specific
code says you have a CD-RW. Time to buy a DVD drive. Fortunately they are
relatively inexpensive these days and easily installed. (I put my own in and
it was a snap.)
