i just tried to run detect and repair on my office 2003. (coz it was a bit
sluggish)
I keep getting the following error message:

"Error 1919.Error configuring ODBC data source: MS Access Database. ODBC
error 6. Component not found in the registry. Verify that the file MS Access
Database exists and that you can access it."

Any idea what to do about this? It gives me an option to Retry but it doesnt
work. Detect and Repair used to work fine before. The only thing ive done
recently is donwload Windows Media PLayer 10, but anything could have caused
this glitch. Should I reinstall Office 2003?
Tks for any help.

If you use Microsoft Update and let it look for updates, do you see the MDAC
update offered? If yes, then install it.
