Office failed updates

I am trying to update office files, this time via windows update. all
software necessary have been downloaded but then fails to install. I have
the French spell-check, junk filter for outlook, update for word and some
two other general office updates. I run Office 2003 on WinXP SP2.

Can someone help me? It's been already around 9 times I tried to install
them eliminating any programs that might have caused conflicts. It proved
futile.

I tried to repair office by using the detect and repair but the installation
failed, it said. before I tried to use listool, but got the error
0x80070002.
