Why don't the thumbnails show actual images of the files anymore?

Hi,

If you are using Leopard it¹s because they are overwritten with the picture
that is used for Finder¹s cover-flow view.

Dear Jim

Thank you for your reply. Yes I am using Leopard & the problem is now only with PowerPoint as I can see desktop previews for Excel & Word files. Would you happen to know how I can get desktop previews for PowerPoint files?

Thank you!

Hi,

This sort of thing involves mostly the operating system. I would send
feedback requesting this feature to Apple at this URL:
