Office for Mac: Powerpoint Crashes

Two days ago, everything was working fine, but when I got home I couldn't get word to work...it kept crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and now powerpoint will not work. You open any of the powerpoint presentations and it will open and then lock up. I have to force quit, and I can't manipulate the powerpoint. Help?
