Office generating error

I am running Office on a laptop and, with all applications
updated, Office/word crash every 10 seconds. The last
time this occurred I reloaded Office from scratch, it
seemed to keep things in check for a couple of months, but
we are back to it again.

Any ideas would be appreciated

What version of Office are you using? What patches are installed? If
