Office Hang-Up

Hello/ Can anyone help me to fix my problem. When I have
open an office XP application and click <File> and select
<Properties> from the drop-down menu, the programme hangs
(that is; the Title bar at top and corresponding tag at
bottom, flash alternatively, and the only way to proceed
is to Control-Alt-Delete and as soon as the Dialog box
appears and <Task Manager> is selected the programme
returns to normal and I just close the task dialog box
(not End Task). I have tried the Microsoft Support site
but because I'm a Student and got Office XP for £10 from
my University, I'm not eligible for free support!
Appreciate any feedback please. Christy

You might try the Repair option from yr origonal CD
