office home and student 2007 mail

office home and student 2007 comes without outlook. what is the recommended
mail client for this pkg? thx ken

I bought Outlook 2007 which is labeled with "For Academic Use" as I am a
student.

it appears this is an option at about $50, but since this is an upgrade for
my son, i really would prefer to retain the outlook 2003. is this feasible?
would there be conflicts?
