I always check this Newsgroup. Haven't seen any new posts. Should be. Maybe
something's wrong with my PC.

This is the only Newgroup that has no new posts in the last few days.

Anybody have an idea? (I know this post is 'slightly' off-topic.

So you haven't seen any of the posts about MS closing down it's NNTP server?
That's why the traffic as reduced greatly.
