I am getting the following error message when attempting to install full
update (which I downloaded and am running on my pc). I have called
Microsoft opening a case # and looked at many of their applicable online
recommendations and tried them to no avail.

The logfile shows "encountered error 1635 while updating"

I currently have Office XP (2002) with SP2 installed. Any advice
appreciated.

Can you be a little more specific. You say that you are trying to install the full version of Update. What Update? Then you say in brackets that you downloaded it and is running on your computer. Can you explain this discrepancy in detail?
