The icons in all Microsoft Office programs look different than usual. They
have a grayish tinge and have lost their 3-D look. All shading is gone from
the icons and the menu area. This happens from time to time and does not
repair if I restart. Eventually (often after several days), with no help
from me, they resume their normal look (brighter colors, shading, etc.). I
tried the "Detect and Repair" feature in Outlook and all of my Office updates
are current. I'm using Microsoft Office 2003. Any ideas of what's causing
this or how to fix it?
