I have encountered an error installing Office 2003 on Windows 2000 SP4 using
sms. The installation proceeds to the setup of the ose.exe and then fails
due to a security issue. The sms aganet runs under the context of local
system when installing. The error text from the log file:
Action 11:45:36: InstallServices. Installing new services
Action 11:45:37: ExecSecureObjects.
CaExecSecureObjects: Error 0x800703e6: failed to get security info for
service: ose
Action ended 11:45:37: InstallExecute. Return value 3.
Action 11:45:37: Rollback. Rolling back installation
Additionally if I install using cmd line parameters, installaiton is
successful
Has anyone ever run into this sort of issue?
