Office Installed, Everything went blank.....

I have this problem where i had installed this microsoft office 2003... later after the installation... i could use it very well without any problem... i played around with the function and everything was alright.

unfortunately, later after i shut down and turned it on again the very next day... evrything went blank... i could see nothing on my screen but my wallpaper.... no taskbar, no start button... no icons on my desktop.....i could not run any program unless i turn on task manager and create new task...then i can open one....

for me this is completely weird... please anyone... could u help me with this?
