Office installed too many times

Greggor

I recently purchased an airport and I am networking a Power mac G4
with a desktop G4. All of the sudden my version of Office OSX does
not work on the laptop claiming that I have exceeded the number of
times I can install Office. Am I not allowed to install my version of
Office on both my desktop and my laptop? If so, is my version of Office
detecting the other version of Office installed on the desktop? If so,
how can I fix this?

Download and install the latest Office X updates, which are 10.1.2, 10.1.4,
and 10.1.5 (10.1.3 is unnecessary) onto each of the computers. They¹re
available from Microsoft.

You are permitted to install Office X on one laptop and one desktop.
However, you can not run Office on both machines at the same time. Make
sure all Office applications are closed on one machine before opening one on
the other.
