office installer opens with other programs!

As it says in the title, I am having a problem with Office
installer opening up when some of my other non microsoft
programs open. It tries to install Office or elements of
office, and of course gets stuck and asks for the CD. It
is happening with at least 3 other programs now and is
very strange. Any ideas?
