Office installs with a basic classic look

Hello everyone...

I've had to format my hard drive and re-install Office 2007.

After the install, I open Word or any other...I don't have the "blue ribbon"
look...I don't understand, I get a gray look. I've tried to make a default,
and tried to change colours, but nothing does, it stays at a gray look.

I've uninstalled and re-installed many times...no luck.

please tell me what to do

Hi Sandra,

If you've changed the color choices in
Office File Button=>Word Option=>Popular
without success and if you are not using dual monitors you may want to look into one of these possibilities:

A. Display: Color settings should be set higher than '256'.
Check to see what Theme settings you have.

B. Accessibility: Display High Contrast should be unchecked.

C. System: Hardware=>Device Manager:
Display Driver - If SMS Remote Control Agent is present
disable it then restart your PC.
(If this one worked, did you have installed or use any
sort of Remote 'help desk' type of software?)

D. Check the website for the manufacturer of your
graphics card to look for an updated driver.

Interresting BOB....thanks for the quick reply...

I did change my graphic card with a
NIVIDIA GetForce 6150SE nForce 430 and I am using a dual desktop
configuration...

but I never thought all this could interfere with the Office colour
interface...

If this is the case, please give direct solution based on my graphic
card...I do believe I have the latest driver.
