Office languages

Hey,

I have two (legal) MS Office Professional editions. One is an english
version and the other is a dutch version. I have the english version
installed, but this version doesn't have a dutch spelling check (only
english, french and spanish).

Is there a way I can install the dutch spelling check from the dutch cd onto
my machine which has the english version installed?

Thanks in advance,
Davy

Yes, but I don't want to buy a whole product I don't realy need. I just want
the dutch language (which I have, since I also have a dutch office cd)
installed on my machine where the english version is installed. Can this be
done without having to buy these proofing tools?

Davy,

Compare and contrast the contents of the

C:\Program Files\Common files\Microsoft shared\Proof\

folders on the two machines. You should be able to figure it
out from there...

"An idea I've had is that when you buy a copy of Office in
any language you should also get a number of vouchers, say
three or, better, four. Each of these "vouchers" will be
redeemable for the additional proofing tools in a language
of your choice. I have an English version of Office for
example. The other languages that come with it are French
and Spanish but in my work I need Turkish and (occasionally)
French and German."

If you think this is A Good Idea, please tell Microsoft so

Hello Opinicus,

I'll try your suggestion, but it might not be that simple since I don't have
the dutch version installed somwhere. I just have a legal copy.

I like your idea, I'll vote for it! Didn't have all this truble with 2000
Pro, I also had an english version and the dutch language was supported
anyways.
