I have Office XP on a pentium III Windows 98 machine and
want to install the office XP on a pentium IX machine with
the latest home operating system.
I then want to re-install office 2000 on the Win98
machine, on which I installed Office XP over the Office
2000 version.
How can this be done without encountering problems caused
by product registration?

If internet activation fails, call MS at the number on your activation
screen and explain it to them. They'll activate.

I'm holding out for the Pentium XX -- I hear it will be downright dirty
:).

Notice that Intel went from Pentium III to Pentium 4? Why do you suppose
they avoided IV?

I believe it was called Pentium iii and, frankly, what difference does it
make?
