Office Licensing

I have come into an account that previously had installed Office XP Pro on some computers that should have received Office XP Standard. Due to their unique apps, it would be a pain to remove and reinstall Office and configure the scripts required. If I remove the extra programs, such as Access, is the license required still considered Office XP Pro or Standard?

Probably best to consult with the legal department at that account, and
for them to consult with Microsoft.
