Office Links missing some data

I have a remote customer trying to use the Tools, Office
Links, Publish in Word option with an Access report. With
2 "identical" PC's, the publish works on one and on the
other, some data comes up missing.

- MS Access 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-1)
- MS Windows 2000 (5.00.2195 Service Pack 3)

I had the customer upgrade Office to SP3 to no avail.

The only difference between the machines is hardware. It
works on an IBM Thinkpad, but not on a Dell Optiplex.

Anyone seen this before or have ideas on avenues to
pursue? I'm hesitant to do a complete re-install since
these are remote PC's.
