"Office:Mac 2004 Student and Teacher Edition
Multiple Users Error Message"
First, I am a Mac User so politely request the help of successful Mac
Techies. .
My question: Can two Users operate Office:Mac 2004 (Word)
simultaneously when the suite has been properly installed per user
agreement?
(I was under the impression that two of us had been doing so up until
my first, recent laptop update. After that, our first Error Message
said we could not run Word on both computers simultaneously).
If it is true that we should be able to operate in Word (for example)
simultaneously, on separate computers, and it turns out the product
keys are assigned appropriately, then what else could the problem?
1) Please assist me to properly find out if the three product key
numbers (I hold) are assigned properly on the computers.
I have two Mac computers: One Mac laptop G4, one Mac G5 - desktop.
Gee, if it turns out they are properly assigned then what are my
options to restoring a two user system???
2) Please assist me further, if it turns out the only option is to
reinstall on one computer, please also verify whether files get lost
with this Office:Mac 2004, Student and Teacher Edition. If they do get
lost or there is even a small chance, I kindly ask that if you, or
anyone else there running a Maxstore external hard drive in conjunction
with their Mac computer, please share how it appears to be configured
on the Mac. the digital tracks look, so I can improve on a currently
useless backup system, before we proceed with any possibly necessary
reinstallation.
Please advise.
