Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When we click on the Double Installer we get this error message "Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable." Then this error message pops up "The document "office installer" could not be opened."
Please help us install this on our computer.

This is a new error. I would install the combo updater for Apple 10.5.5 to
see if it fixes the underlying base files. Then try the installer. See this
page for help installing.

Download the combo updater from Apple and run it again rather than using
Software Update. Doing so overwrites potentially problem-causing files.
Several users have reported this fixed some odd problems they were having
with Office. Combo updaters will install on the same version as they¹re
applying‹no need to roll back or do a clean install.

BTW, open CD, tell me what files you see.
