office:mac, word, unicode fonts

Problems with Office:Mac v.X Word on Mac notebook running OSX10.3

This application does not seem to support some of the characters in a
unicode font I want to use. Any suggestions about getting around it, or
another word processing program that will let me use the full capability
of the font I want?

Word X doesn't support Unicode. WOrd 2004 (coming in SPring) shoudl
support it but until then I don;t know any workaround. A lto of people
who need unicode support tried Mellel. I hope this app will suit your
need.
