My system malfunctions everyday around 5 PM where MS Office programs slow
down or will not operate. Operating system is XP Pro; Office 2003; Exchange
Server 2003.
No matter what I am doing, Office (Outlook or Word or Excel) stall or slow
down very badly, and eventually quit working every day when at the office.
Although time related, I've looked for time operated operations and found
nothing. Cannot decide if it is the server or local computer, but definately
effects local operation and local saves.
Rebooting local computer resolves the problem.
Two of our computers out of 6 have this problem and are the only ones using
XP Pro and Office 2003. Other computers running Win2000 and Office 2003 do
not have the problem. XP Pro with office 2000 does not seem to have the
problem. Problem does not occur all day long on affected systems with
intensive use until around 5 PM.
Anyone with a clue, please reply.
