Office menu delay

My client bills $180 per hour and says that the 400ms show menu delay in
Office costs him $.02 everytime someone in his company clicks an office
menu. He was joking, but is there any way to kill this delay? A similar
delay for the windows UI can be tweaked at
\HKCU\ControlPanel\Desktop\ShowMenuDelay. Any ideas appreciated.

get him a new accountant. if the delay slows down his work then he can bill
more hours and make more money. he should be asking how to make the delay
longer!

In Office 2002 (XP) and Office 2003, select "Tools" | "Customize..." menu
item, select the "Options" tab, check the "Always show full menus" box. If
this box is checked, you would always get full menus - no delay when going
from recently selected menu items to full menu. Is this what you are looking
for?

No, even with "Alway show full menus" there's still a .4 second delay
opening sub menus.
