Office MSDN installation disk

I have been asked to identify a way to determine if Office (2000 - 2007) have
been installed from a MSDN installation disk. The only way i can think of is
by capturing the product key. Is the product key advertised in the registry
or in a file some where? Or, are there other ways to determine a Office
installation from a MSDN (non-volume license) image?

Identifying MSDN installation is critical to properly perform a MS license
true up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Hank

Hello MagicJelly Bean,

I am able to locate the ProductID in the registry however not the Product
key. Based on my research, the product ID is generated dynamically, based on
the hardware and the product id. Is this correct? If so, what algorithm is
used to generate the product id? Based on the productID, can I determine that
the install was from a MSDN image?

BTW: I think that KeyFinder is a great little tool.
