Office MST file hell

F

Fletch

I have created an admin point. Got it all setup, done some testing and
everytime I struggle to get the mst file to work.

I have an admin point of office 2003 on the network, an mst file in that
folder and I need to get it installed.
Everything I read tells me to run setup.exe transforms=path to mst file
that generates something about going to control panel and configuring the
system and when I did get it to work I pasted around stuff and got lucky I
think.
How do you do this? I have tried going to a command prompt, putting in
\\server\folder\folder\setuppro.exe or pro11.mis
transforms=\\server\folder\folder\mst file and nothing?

Hi
I did that but it isn't taking. I had it working before I wiped out the
machine testing all my sysprep stuff. So the office install launches but
the mst file doesn't start up or something as i have to enter the license
key, company name, etc. I even have the mst file in the same folder just to
make it easier.
I created the admin point, slipped the sp in it and then went and installed
to test, got it working but everytime it is tough to get it to go.
Any other ideas?
