Newsgroups are a classic internet facility but they are ignored completely by
Office. Outlook Express's newsreading capabilities are flawed and so M$ don't
provide any useable newsgroup access at all.
I suppose it must be an area of the internet that is so well established
that M$ would have difficulty creating new protocols so that they can lock
out competing products. Since they can't own it, they disown it?
