Office no longer works after hard drive install

I'm running Office XP on Win XP SP2. I just installed a new hard drive
(WD1200JBRTL) and used the software from WD (Data Lifeguard Tools) to
transfer all files from my old hard drive. Most things appear to work fine,
however I can't get Office to run without error. When starting Outlook, I
get the "Preparing to install" popup and then a pop up that says "An error
occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly. Please run
Setup and select "Repair..." to restore this application.". If I hit
Send/Receive, it tells me the operation failed. If I try running Setup, a
pop up says "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch
package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor
to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package." I get
similar errors when trying to load Excel or Word. HELP!

You'll need to remove and re-install Office.

I figured it out. Some Office installer files were corrupt so I had to
download msicuu2.exe from Microsoft which would then allow me to uninstall
and reinstall. After reinstalling, it worked.
