Office not doing SPELL CHECK

I am using Office 2003. Word is not displaying my words that are misspelt. I
have looked at my TOOLS, OPTIONS, SPELLING menu, but don't seem to find any
errors. All the correct tabs are enabled to check my documents. As soon as I
press F7 to do the spell check, it says : "The Spelling and Grammar check is
complete, Test marked with "do not check spelling and grammar" was skipped".
I don't know what this means. I did try to use the HELP menu, but to no
avail. No where to my knowledge, there is such a tab in the OPTIONS menu...

I have tried to repair my Office 2003 installation

In Word, open a document where this problem occurs, press Ctrl+A
to select all of the text, click on Tools | Language | Set
Language | <choose your language> | uncheck the "Detect language
automatically" and "Do not check spelling or grammar" boxes |
Default | OK.
