Office not opening excell or word. (any office programs)

Have had computer for 6 months now and all of a sudden excell, word or any
other Office program will not open. The hour glass runs for ever. I have
tried refiguring the computer to a date prior to failure and removing office
and reinstalling office to correct the perblem. I have two year support on
computer but it seems that does not cover software issues. Can anyone help?

what was the solution, I am having the same problem. it takes forever to open
any office programs, if they open.
