Office Notifications

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

All of a sudden the Office Notifications no longer "scroll" but instead show the entire list on my desktop. I don't like this as it takes up too much room. How can I get it back to to showing just one at a time and scrolling to see the others? Thank you.
