Office OEM question

I am comparing prices to purchase Office 2003, Small
Business Edition. I found a price that is much better,
but it says OEM after the title. What does that mean?
It's the same item number as the Office product without
OEM. Please advise. Thank you.

An OEM license is intended for sale with or for a new PC, once installed you
may not move it to another PC.
The full version can be moved to to another PC providing it is un-installed
from the original.

So if I load the OEM version on a computer and later
replace that computer with a new one, I cannot load it
onto the new computer?
I just want to make sure I'm understanding this
correctly. Thanks.

Nope, also if the PC goes pop!
An OEM license is to a PC, not a person.
The real question is what happens if you upgrade the PC, at at what point
does it become a new PC?

The only original part of my PC is the case and power supply. I re-installed
all the software, that I had previously paid for, that originally came with
my computer, so should I not have done that?

I got some DVD films with my DVD player when I bought it, am I breaking some
farcical terms if I watch them on another DVD player at a friends house.

If it will install on your computer install it. If it bothers you about
piracy or ripping of software then don't do it and pay the full over
inflated price for it.

All so called Microsoft software that you buy that does not come from an
authorised Microsoft dealer is most probably pirated, stolen, ripped off
copies and the proceeds go to drug dealers.

I believe the next version of the Windows OS, (which is not due for release
till 2005) can be purchased for $2.00 in a certain Asian country!
