office on a broken laptop

boil

I have Microsoft Office, licensed for three users. The third usage is
on a laptop which has now died and I can't get access it to remove the
software to re-install on a new laptop. I have the product registration
no's - might I be able to get a replacement from microsoft and how
would I go about it ? (I'm in the UK)
thanks

This is a Macintosh?

MacOffice does not need to be activated or unactivated--just install from
the CD and re-use the license key that was assigned to that laptop, you
don't need to bother to remove the software to install it.

If this isn't on a Mac, you'll need to contact MS directly--you might start
here:

If you have the Product KEY (not the Registration ID Number, the Key) then
you can simply go ahead and re-install the software on the new laptop.

If you are on a PC, the software "may" refuse to Activate. If it does, it
will offer you the opportunity to telephone a local number. Ring that and
explain what happened.

They will probably ask for the Registration ID Number from the dead laptop.
If you can give them that, they will probably allow your activation on your
existing key.

Cheers
