Recently I purchased two computers, one a desktop and the other a Notebook,
Both came preinstalled with MS Works 8.5 (Not Demos or Time Trial But Full
Versions). Worked fine on both. I later installed Office 2007 Beta 2 on both
systems as well as OneNote 2007 and have been using them for several weeks.
Yesterday I went to open a Works file from works on my destop (first time
since installing Office/OneNote 2007) and found that I get an error when it
tries to start stating that No Entry point could be found. This holds true
regarless whether it is a wordprocessor document, spreadsheet ot database
file. Only thing that will work is the calendar. Even if I just try to launch
any of these works applications I get the same error. I also get the same
error on my Notebook.
I have removed works from my computers and reinstalled but still cannot get
it to work. Always tells me that an entry point cannot be found. Installed
Works on a third compuetr without OOffice/OneNote 2007 and it works fine.
Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas how to correct it?
Thanks,
